Well, I gave up on the Divine Comedy. It's just not something to be listened to as an audiobook. At least that translation isn't. I couldn't focus, I couldn't picture it, I couldn't follow. So too bad. I'll read it someday.
So, I went on to A Girl of the Limberlost, by Gene Stratton-Porter. Pretty good story. I plan to follow it up with the book that came before it, Freckles. The description of homemade foods herein are very tasty-sounding! Or it could be that I was just hungry at the time.
